If you are travelling interstate, the best airport to fly into is Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast Airport). Get on them quick as they seem to be limited to that airport and the only other option is Brisbane which makes it an extra hour to Byron Bay.

From there you can either get a cab, uber, greyhound or rent a car. Byron is about 45 mins to an hour from Coolangatta. Share with people to be more cost effective :)

Stay in Byron Bay town or Bangalow. These are the two pick-up/drop off points for the bus on the wedding day, therefore most easily accessible if you don't have a get around car. You can see the exact locations and times etc. in the "Transport" tab.

Byron is more lively and has a bit more going on, as well as night life. While Bangalow is quiet and just out of Byron, very close to the venue.

The pic below shows where is best to stay in Byron Bay that is within reasonable distance from town, bus stops and the beach etc. By all means, stay where ever you like though if you have a way to get around. There are beautiful spots everywhere!
